Over 300 friends of The Christi Center gather each year to honor and remember loved ones
at our Annual Candlelight Remembrance Service.
We know that the holidays can be an especially difficult time of year for those who are grieving. The Remembrance Service provides an opportunity to gather with others who understand and take time to remember loved ones who will never be forgotten. We invite you to join us to hang photos of loved ones on our Tree of Remembrance and listen to a message of comfort, hope, and healing. The quiet presence of others who understand will provide you with a time of peaceful reflection, companionship and support.
This year’s Remembrance Service will be on Sunday, December 8th from 3-5pm
St Edward’s University– Ragsdale Center, in the Mabee Ballroom
The service is free and open to the public, but we ask that you kindly RSVP here.
At our 2012 service, we asked participants to share what brings them comfort and hope during times of intense grief. Visit our blog to read some of their responses. You can find the complete collection in a scrapbook The Christi Center library.
