The Christi Center has planted a total of 954 memorial trees at Lady Bird Lake and Zilker Park in Austin and Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock. The tree groves are a living memorial to loved ones, and many families gather there to reflect, picnic, and enjoy the restorative powers of nature.

We will not be planting a memorial tree grove in 2012 due to drought conditions.  The next tree grove planting will be in October, 2013, but we are currently accepting reservations on a first-come, first-served basis.

Trees cost $350 and this cost includes the purchase and planting of the tree, ongoing maintenance, and your loved one’s name on a central marker at the tree grove.  We hold a dedication ceremony in October and friends and family are encouraged to attend.  Download a reservation form, or contact Cara Fox for more information.
