Position Overview – The Financial and Administrative Assistant supports the mission of The Christi Center by assuming primary responsibility for organization bookkeeping, donor and member data entry, and phone support. This position also provides general administrative support to programs and Executive Director as needed.
Essential Job Functions
· Perform bookkeeping duties to include: processing checks, bill paying, check writing, procurement of signatures for checks, running reports for Executive Director and Board leadership, and monthly financial statement reconciliation.
· Serve as primary contact for maintaining organizational databases, overseeing data entry ensuring that information is updated.
· Answer phones, provide information/referral, conduct mini-intakes, and be a friendly and knowledgeable ambassador for the organizations.
· Steward donors by running donor contribution reports and developing and sending personalized acknowledgment/tax receipt letters weekly.
· Manage set-up of rooms as needed for meetings and events.
· Support special events, as needed.

· Participate in internal committees, as appropriate.

Requirements
· Proficient in QuickBooks and Salesforce
· Previous administrative support experience
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Non-profit experience a plus

· Highly proficient in MS Office applications
· Desktop publishing a plus
· Data base experience
· Spanish-speaking a plus
· Ability to manage multiple projects with differing priorities & timelines for completion
