Teen Group is changing nights!!!  Teen group will be held on the first and third Thursdays of every month from 6:30-8pm at the Christi Center.

The teens had lots of fun boating and swimming at Charlie’s Place on Lake Buchanan on Saturday, August 21st!  We hope to do another one before it gets cold.  Hope you can make it!

We offer free, ongoing support groups for adolescents grieving the loss of a loved one.  Groups are held the first and third Thursday of the month, from 6:30-8pm at the Christi Center (View Map).

Participants receive the support of peers who can truly relate.  They benefit from hearing how others have coped, and the realization that they are not alone in their experience of loss.  They benefit from helpful guidance on how to manage and express their complex emotions in a healthy manner.  The group serves as a safe place for youth to come, share, connect, and heal.

The teen group also includes outings that offer teens the opportunity to have fun with others teens struggling to find joy after loss.  Activities include bowling, movies, pizza parties, hiking,  and other exciting activities each quarter.

A summer teen retreat at Charlie’s Place on Lake Buchanan offers a weekend of canoeing, boating, swimming, campfires, crafts and team building activities designed to help teens connect and move forward through their grief.
