Current volunteer opportunities

Healing Garden at the Christi Center - After the loss of a loved one, people need time to heal. We are introducing a Healing Garden at the Christi Center, and you can help bring calmness and reflection to the healing process. Join the Healing Garden Team by donating time, flowers and plants, building materials, and more. Contact us for more details!

Video Editor – We have unedited video of our events…. can you help bring us into the technological age by editing our HD video and uploading it to YouTube, our website, and other social media outlets? We are also working on a video orientation for our volunteers – can you help bring this project together?

If you are interested in any of these opportunities, please fill out a Volunteer Application (if you have not already done so) or contact Jocelyn Brown at 512-467-2600.

We also wish to thank our current volunteers.

We could not do it without you.  The services our volunteers provide are invaluable.  A core of about 70 volunteers contribute more than 10,000 hours annually. It is a gift that is impossible to quantify.

The impact to our organization is undeniable. Volunteers provide services that aid every aspect of our organization’s work — from administrative support functions to assisting with grief sessions and events, to maintenance, to learning how to become support group facilitators and actually working with our members. It is an amazing effort and we are deeply grateful for it.
